Patrick Will Baker
Born and raised in the quiet landscapes of Suffolk I went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration, specialising in editorial design. I have recently returned to my artistic roots and enjoy exploring connections, be that the relationships we build and develop with our peers, or with nature and our environment.
Life in a rural community has influenced the focus of my practice - notably the natural environment around us and the connections between the people within it. My semi-abstract style with its bold, expressive mark-making prioritises feeling and mood over literal interpretation.
I regularly take part in exhibitions across the UK, recently 'Remarkable' The Pastel Society's 125th Annual Exhibition and Chelsea Art Society's Summer Open.
