Colin Ayers
I am a full time artist and professional associate of the SAA (Supporting All Artists-www.saa.co.uk).
Drawing and painting has been a passion since childhood; taking early retirement from the NHS in 2013, I fill my time running art classes and workshops; also, taking part in exhibitions.
My interests and painting mediums vary; what ever the subject or medium, I aim to capture atmosphere/mood and not sticking to any one approach; always looking to push the boundaries.
I particularly love working with alkyd oils and their quick drying time; their vibrancy of colours. All my landscapes are based upon local scenes around Suffolk and East Anglia.
